They've just scrapped the briefings without ever having held one.

As long as a large proportion of the UK continue to vote for them, they'll keep doing it. :/

At some point as a society we need to stop voting for the best worst option, or voting for X because at least they aren't Y, and start voting for actual decent, competent, smart human beings instead.

I can't and won't defend that.

I'm also mightily p***ed off with the resignation/sacking of Johnny Mercer and this government's inability to prevent historic prosecution of NI veterans.

Ouch.  On the plus side, it now puts all those people who hate Cummings in the awkward position of potentially having to agree with him and defend him if they hate Boris more...

It's okay, judging by Twitter you can easily ridicule Cummings for being a hypocrite (Barnard Castle was trending... again) and enjoy him stabbing Boris in the back.
