Bandi that is total bollocks.
It stems from some poor sod, in Birmingham I think, trying to be inclusive rather than exclude anybody. It was then jumped on by the flag sha**ers and xenophobes and perpetuated as 'political correctness gone mad'.

Much the same as 'Well there's no audience so we wont sing Rule Britannia'
was seized on by the same crowd always a hairline away from being violently offended/offensive.

Pretty sure Argos was 1st one released this year, and maybe their 1st Christmas ad ever?

John Lewis to the fore as per, albeit more unusual probably appreciated more from us movie fans who are interested in the process, 7 or 9 separate artists involved and Lily Allen. Oops I must have read an old news feed saying this was this years, oh well ill leave it up anyway

Not found a Christmas ad to beat the heartstrings of all kids and some adults, as last years Edgar dragon advert. I even got a toy Edgar (big hassle to get one) for my granddaughter and she loved it, and still keeps it in her bed. Though there would have been a continuation ad with Edgar this year, but not so. Pity, they were onto a winner with the dragon.
Last years ad....

It's out.

I'm not posting a link as it'll be flooding your timelines anyway and it's not been bl**dy firework night yet.

Pity the poor sod on twitter who's going to get another avalanche of praise and abuse just for being christened John Lewis.
