He did get caught, but one rule for us...

isn't it in your own interests to give right details?

we had out summer holiday in a social distanced Butlins, and at the onsite restaurants we gave our details, was sort of dreading getting a phonecall after we got home, but at same time, better to be told, than be oblivious.

they managed it quite well, had to prebook swimming session, shows etc. for the hsows they set up new outdoor stage, and had picnic bench set up at a good distance away from each other, you could only sit wth ppl from your own accomadation. you could bing food and drink in to show, or use app to pay for and order it to be brought to you.

the fairground they limited number of people on rides, every other seat was empty, and a couple were completely closed.

the park was running at at most half number of visitors.

swimming I'm not sure how well the social distancing work, but they only let one person at a time on each flume etc, amde sure the person was completely out of way before you get down, which on some is protocol anyway, but not for the "rapids".

no phonecalls and it was weeks ago, so must have worked?

I guess this depends how much faith you have in the NHS track and trace system, and when I say NHS I mean privately outsourced by the government to Tory pals track and trace system.

Track and trace is run by Serco. With no surprise to anyone, the govt outsourced it (I've noticed people complaining that Bozo called it "NHS track and trace" - it's nothing to do with the NHS).

It seems that no matter how much Serco have f***ed up in the past, they will
still keep being fed lucrative contracts.

What I will never understand, is how enough of us accept the lies, and the incompetency, to allow it to endlessly continue.

And then I realise humans are generally morally bankrupt and that's why.

There are a lot of people cashing in on this crisis, and as you say there is the old boy network, plus the many unscrupulous sellers of PPE equipment/masks making a fortune. Plus there is a forthcoming rush by the world for questionable covid 19 inoculations that will have the pharmaceuticals rubbing their hands together thinking of all that money.

Personally i think we are heading into another lockdown during the winter period... we have been lucky that the summer weather people bein outdoors has prevented many from contracting this, but come the cold damp days, with people in hot building all the windows closed, then the R rate will rise...

Whether you agree with the world politics at the moment, this is a real threat... common sense, wash you hands (people seem to have forgotten this, BASIC rule) use a tissue, cover your face if coughing/sneezing...

Remember Coughs & Sneezes spread diseases...

I dont worry for myself, as i am fairly healthy (if a bit overweight) but i do worry for relatives who are older, and those who are friends with underlying health issues.

If you mean a full UK lockdown again, no chance. It was brought in at great expense for the NHS to cope during the initial surge, and now they can cope, everything is set up.

The Government and eventually the UK taxpayers who pay, just cannot afford another 2 trillion pound layoff and more disaster to the economy. It will just be as it it is now with short time local lockdowns, and changing and tweaking of the rules regarding social contact.

PS..After saying the above that another full lockdown could not occur, just saw on the news that Israel is introducing total country lockdown again for three weeks. So makes you wonder. Anything could happen in the next half hour, best to ask Dominic Cummings for advice
