Interesting video above, I think we will get a second wave as many are not giving a rats arse now about social distancing, especially doing protests in the middle of a pandemic. Also people walking by up close, not bothering to space out. maybe they are spaced out LOL.

My one worry when you see the death and recovery figures in ICU compairing countries, Britain is way down in survival ratings by going into the ICU you either get out walking or in a box. No idea why the UK is so bad with this.

I am now for the second wave after all those demos yesterday. Not sure why I bothered following all the advice now.

Wow.

People enjoy VE day conga lines, drive hours to picnic on the beach in droves, cram themselves onto tube trains, drive to their second homes, and this is the moment you wonder why you were bothering?

They aren't actually testing as many as the figures show as the test is referenced to the individual.
"Diagnostic tests which involve taking saliva and nasal samples from the same patient are being counted as two tests, not one."
They have just started doing antibody testing at the Ambulance Service and guess what?
This is also counted as a seperate test although in a sense you could say it is as it is an after the event test. Don't know what it is like down South but here the crews are now starting to get really hit and this new 14 day isolation lark that also includes Emegency Service Staff means we soon will have no Ambulance Service up here. If somebody in one of the testing labs goes down with it then potentially that is your testing gone too. The Government really didn't think through their last announcement.

That's ok, reality doesn't matter. It doesn't matter we have the second highest number of deaths in the world either. Because Boris is getting it done, and you can't argue with the church of Boris worshippers. Also now is not the time to criticise the government or try and hold it account for it's self imposted missed targets. Death to empathy.

The problem with testing is that you do not know if the results are accurate or not. My nephew's wife is a NHS doctor and both of them who live in the West Midlands came down with symptoms and have isolated for two weeks. Nephew came back negative and wife positive, yet both had same symptoms in the same household. Both are now OK, but it makes you wonder about the tests accuracy. (it took a week to get results)

PS..when it one of your own relatives, you really do worry, during those two or three weeks.

I'd be tempted to test again. There seem to be problems with a high percentage of false negatives with the swab test. The antibody test is supposed to be far more acurate but you van;t have that till at least 21 days after your last symptoms have gone.
