RE: [VIDEO] Brexit

One loud bang around the right time of night and three Irish students responding to the news on their journey with...
Are yous leaving?
Haven't you left?
How long ago?
That's bloody ridiculous.

I take it we all feel free from our oppressors and are bouncing round like spring lambs?
No?
Me neither.

"Well, we had some prick setting off very loud fireworks at the stroke of 11 last night. The same idiot who was told by the parish council to strop flying the UKIP flag as his house is on one of the main approach roads into the village as it made us look bad. It's fair to say that given the loud shouting that immediately followed the loud bangs (that terrified our small pets and eldest son), this idiot's solo demonstration didn;t go down well with his neighbours."

You have my sympathy.

I've said this more times than I can count, but there are arseholes out there on either side of just about every issue.

Reads like the opening line of a Brexit Blues

...and it's going to be a few years before George Bailey comes running down the road waving the re-entry agreement.

It's not Brexit. Not yet. All that happened was some idiots let off fireworks as some flags were pulled down. The world doesn't end until 31st December 2020, and at least I'll be expecting those fireworks.

Bojo has 11 months to get the "easiest deal ever!"

I thought there were going to be 20+ trade deals ready to go after midnight?

Boris tries to do a Trump and bar journalists unlikely to report on him favourably from press briefing:

Quote:
An invitation sent out by Number 10 offered a “technical background briefing” on the PM’s plans to negotiate a Canadian-style free trade agreement with the EU by the end of the year.

But when political correspondents from various outlets arrived inside Number 10, they were asked their names and told to stand in two groups on opposite sides of the entrance hall.

Director of communications Lee Cain then invited those on one side to enter and told those on the other to leave.

However, for once our journalists decided to act like true journalists and...

Quote:
All of the correspondents refused to take part in the event on those terms and left Number 10.

There is hope for the press after all.
