Si, this thread was created to analyse & critique the Trump presidency, which is pretty much what's been happening, it's just that his entire presidency seems to have been centred around being the worst possible President, and as you say, not giving a f*** about what people think. Complaining about the orange f***tard in a public forum is a way to vent your frustration, and make sure you're not alone in your interpretation of his arseholeness.

The second he does something that is noteworthy, I'll be sure to mention it, like just after the recent spate of shootings, he suggested that people who want to purchase firearms should be subject to more stringent mental health checks.

In this particular case, I completely agree.

I can see strategically why he wants it, but this is a tad OTT as a reaction.

Of course, I've heard elsewhere that this may be deliberate on his part as Obama is due to visit Denmark not too long after him and Trump didn't want the contrast in reception to be clear in memory.

On the other hand, I saw people on Sky News complaining about the fact these visits take months to arrange and cost money but I doubt that was a consideration when those same people were insisting that his UK state visit was cancelled.

In good news, Trump signed an order today eliminating federal loan debt for permanantly & completely disabled veterans. Only half of those eligible had received it so far, but that was blamed on a burdensome application process.

Something I think we could certainly stretch to do over here, when necessary.
