1st president to be impeached twice
RE: [VIDEO] The Trump Presidency
He'll probably still try and use that as some kind of positive.
Still, McConnell has blocked an emergency Senate assembly to start the trial, so the wounded lame duck will still have his last week. It just remains to be seen in what way he'll lash out.

It's a good job he isn't on Twitter, Twitch, YouTube, Facebook, etc. Can you imagine the storm he would be stirring up right now.

RE: [VIDEO] The Failed Presidency of Donald Trump
James Comey on Newsnight asked if Trump should be prosecuted.
Paraphrased: 'No he shouldn't get a platform for the next three or four years I'd rather he was standing on the lawn at Mar a Lago in his dressing gown shouting at cars.'

Doesn't this still need to be ratified by the Senate?

Congress impeaches, the Senate holds the trial. And this time, with the Democrats holding the Senate, Chuck Shumer will set the rules, not Mitch McConnell, so people might actually testify.

I think the Senate is a 50/50 split with the Vice President holding the casting vote in a tie? Which means we still have to wait 6 days.

Aye, my sole point was that this is not yet a done deal...
