It's beginning to look like belligerently filing frivolous lawsuits with no basis in fact and with no evidence might be coming back to bite Rudy (& others) on the backside as an actual lawyer is seeking to have Guiliani disbarred for "for “fraud” and “deceit” in his actions attempting to overturn the presidential election without any justification."

There will be. One lawyer alone has 67 affidavits waiting for Trump on the 21st January. His wanting to stay on as pres has nothing whatsoever with any desire to keep 'leading the people'. He's just desperate to keep out of jail.

99.9% probably. And that was the most infuriating part - that anyone with a grain of common sense knew exactly why he wanted the job - to line his pockets and those of his friends, while inflating his already over-stuffed ego, and giving nothing back to the US citizens who were blinded enough to vote for him.

It was actually painful to see people you know and like defend him, tacitly or directly, despite everything that was known about him (failed businessman, wife beater, alleged child rapist, certified ephebophile), but still went on the record as saying they 'think he'll do a good job'.

Once is accidental, twice is coincidental. More then three times is enemy action.

The letter signals that Murphy has formally signed off on Biden's victory, a normally perfunctory process known as ascertainment. The move will allow the transition to officially begin, permitting current administration agency officials to coordinate with the incoming Biden team, and providing millions in government funding for the transition.

The move toward ascertainment comes after Michigan formally certified its election results on Monday and Georgia certified its razor-thin presidential results on Friday. Pennsylvania is nearing certification of its election results, too.

Well, this is surprising. Trump has told his administration to follow transition protocols. It's not quite officially conceding but it's pretty close.

I'm just curious how he's going to try and spin it so it comes across to his rabid fanbase that losing was his intention all along.

Or if he's already in the secret tunnel heading towards a non-extradition country of his choice.
