Washing machine help wanted -Siemens WXL146AGB/01 Heater Element

Hi,
We have the above washing machine which is tripping the electrics when on a wash cycle.
It does not trip on a spin only cycle.
This fault had also occured about 3 years ago & the engineer replaced the heater element due to the limescale shorting to earth. We live in a hard water area & we also use Calgon.
I had seen replace it & looked easy but I would appreciate if someone in the trade could give me some tips on how to replace it. I am an electronics engineer & have access to PAT tester, multi meter etc.
Thank you

Dude,

A few weeks ago i discovered http://www.ukwhitegoods.co.uk/ when i was researching washing machines.

Have a look on their forums as theres  lots of really helpful engineers on there - its a goldmine of info.

Good luck :)
