Glitter movie

People will say I`m being biased as I`m a big Mariah Carey fan, but I honestly can`t believe how people critisize Glitter the way they do, this is an exceptionally good movie!!! - Mariah can act!!!

I`m a big Mariah Carey fan.

Does that mean your realy fat or eight feet tall, or pheraps both.

When one thinks of Mariah Carey the words sell buy and past come to mind.

She`s definitely past her sell by date. I have all her albums up to Rainbow, and that was a big let down. She wails too much and it gets irritating. Is it any wonder Virgin/EMI paid up to `let her go`? Looks like DefJam may sign her up though...

I want the classic Mariah from the first few albums back, classic sounding songs with her vocal range in full force. Vision of Love is still my favourite song of hers.

As for her movie debut, I wouldn`t touch it. I`ve not heard one good thing about it. "What a waste of $20m..." is what I keep hearing/reading.

What, Mariah wailing. I thought they were a protected animal.

All the best,

Andrew.

Ha Ha - MC has an octive of five, she was the biggest selling female artist of the 1990`s, she`s released an album a year since she first came out and you say you have "all her albums upto Rainbow" and then you say "all she does is wail..." - have you even heard the Glitter album?, or seen the Glitter movie?, I think September 11th had an awful lot to do with the results of "Glitter".

I need to stop typing so fast! - my spelling is bad!!!

When I said she wails too much, I should have directed that comment to the album Rainbow. Her Butterfly album is barely better than average with about four good tracks, so I thought I`d give her the benefit of the doubt with Rainbow, but this is a pants album, IMO.

I`ve heard a few of the Glitter tracks, but there`s nothing interesting in them at all. What with my low opinion of her music, I`m hardly going to go out of my way to see her movie.

I think it;s time for Mariah to step adside, Alicia Keys is much better.

What`s an `octive of five` ?? By the sounds of that, she can only sing five notes in one particular octave (normally 8 notes). Do you mean she has a range of 5 octaves? (not bad for a human, but probably quite normal for alien species)

Yeah I meant she has a range of 5 octives...

I`d like to see the "so called legends" (i.e., The Beatles, Michael Jackson, Madonna, Elvis etc.) sings the big notes that Mariah can...
