Page 1 of cleaning slabs.

My cleaning fest continues. The slabs on my balcony are looking a bit tired. There is a light covering of mossy type stuff in places. Will a brushing with a light bleach solution work? Or is that to be avoided. Any thoughts?

I`m assuming with it being a balcony that a power washer is not an option

Use some patio cleaner solution

You don`t need to hire a pressure washer, Doc.
Mine only cost £27 from B+Q and it`s perfectly fine for cleaning slabs.
It`s small enough to be easily stored in a flat as well.
About the same size as a small hoover.

You`d need a hose as well, of course.
Long enough to get from a tap to the pressure washer, and allow some movement.
Get a good anti-kink hose though, a cheap one will do your head in as it cuts the supply off to the power washer and you`re left dribbling like a 70 year old with prostate trouble.

Do you have an outside tap if not then you`ll find connectivity a problem

Why?
All he`d need to do is run a hose from an inside tap to the outside area, then connect it to the pressure washer outside, using click on/off hose connectors.
