I don`t know but if I had to put money on it I`d say either `The Matrix` or `Gladiator` but having said that That crap Star Wars thing might just take the title or the p***!

Its Shrek.....!!
"With a reported 5,500,000 units sold through to consumers, Shrek would beat by a hair the previous record holder, DreamWorks`s own Gladiator, which currently stands at about 5,300,000 sold. "

Shrek, is the fastest selling and I think possibly the biggest selling. This very site has a news item on its region 1 page about this very matter.

Hey Deano, rather than linking to DVDFile, how about pointing to our story from Wednesday instead!

Anyway, Shrek has so far sold 5.5 million, with Gladiator second with over 5 million. The three million for Pearl Harbour is VHS and DVD, and no breakdown of that figure was given, although Buena Vista did say that the DVD was their best selling yet.
Other big sellers are The Mummy Returns and Star Wars: The Phantom Menace - but Gladiator and Shrek are miles ahead.

Sorry `bout that Chris!
I was just looking at that site about 10 minutes before I read the question, so I linked it in! Not that I usually look at any other site other than DVD Reviewer of course....!
