Does anyone know of a web design package that includes the ability to set up a password/registration function and also a search engine function.

Cheers for any help

Hi I always use macromedia Dreamweaver. It is a very good package and lots of people use it. You can learn basic javascript over the net. Its not too difficult. They layout and boxes are easy to produce physically.

I don`t think either of the functions mentioned in the original post are catered for by Dreamweaver - you`ll either have to search the net for those extra functions - there are many solutions for search engines. What are you wanting to search? Products or web page content? It all depends what you want these features for, really.

vi is all you`ll ever need for web page/site creation. You can write the HTML code, Javascript, CGI Perl scripts etc...

Sorry...I`m stuck in the old school when it comes to this sort of thing!
