does anyone have a link to a picture or something that will show me where a repair is permissible on a car tyre? I have just had a flat (after a bloody service too!) but don`t want to make an idiot of myself when i go down the garage tomorrow!

If it`s a run-flat it can`t be repaired.

if the hole is in the tread of the tyre thats ok and they will either put a tube in or vulcanize it(plug it),but if it is the sidewall then its scrap i`m afraid.
