are there any websites that give local air pressure readings?

some friends are setting up a small weather station, not sure exactly what it is but they said it requires a local air pressure reading in order to start it. ive had a quick look but to be honest im not sure where to look.

any ideas?

cheers.

Got to the BBC and enter their postcode. This will bring up the weather forecast for their area and also give the pressure reading (in mB) from the nearest weather recording station. That`s about as good as you`ll get unless there are other local enthusiasts!

Your friends may have someone nearby also with a weather station. See this Google Map of personal wether stations in the UK. Live air pressure data is available from most of the stations.
