ok,here it is Clayts,i recently purchased a shiny new encore 450 player, and i remembered ,our disputes ,correct me if ime wrong,
about amps,ahem,was it , yammys vs sherwood, (cough,cough),anyway i will get to the point,i had to do a back up copy of the sixth day,
of course back up copy lol, anyway,i remembered that you have a site , solely,to do with encores,.so as you know it is rce, the sixth day,
so i went to your site,and hey presto,got that code right away,i thought i would say thanks in here ,instead of saying it in your own site,
bedlam is giving me some kinda new ,firmware,cos he stays like 5 mins away from me, he has been really really busy the last few months
and may i add , that your site is looking good ,BIG THANKS,and p.s. sherwood rock.

Tell Bedlam that I shouldn`t be bugging him for firmware any more as I finally got myself a very cheap CD writer from buy.com, which does the job superbly !

We had some good debates in the past over the relative strengths and weaknesses of the Sherwood and Yamaha AV amps, but as we`re both happy with our selections the matter is long forgotten, Lawless.

what does shameless plug mean ??????,
anyway clayts when i used the code for my encore,in the menu it says bypass as you know,but does this mean i have to put the code in ,
everytime i want to watch, a rce disc,and then,change region all over again,cos bedlam upgraded the firmware,and my drive is really ,
taking ages to play a disc , and making a right noisy racket,is this common ,should i get new firmware,cheers....

Just set it to bypass - RCE doesn`t trouble Encore players (or any other Sampo clones come to that).

You don`t need to worry about changing regions.

The noisy racket you mention is part and parcel of the Sampo owning pleasure !

sherwoods suck,big time!!all their about is volume and bass.i once owned a sherwood,a big fella too,now i own a yammy and everything sounds sooo much better.

well...if his head is so thick he cant tell the differance between a yammy and a sherwood,there`s really no point punchin him in it,is there....lol ;-)
