How does the USA law work, in regards to Sale of Goods Act

Hi.

I recently purchased dvds from a internet dvd company based in the USA,
5 were faulty, but they replaced them, but the
ones they replaced them with, have the same problem,
also the dvd descriptions on their site seem to be misleading.

And finaley, one of the dvds has the words Sony dvd player, at the
end of the dics, you can tell it`s been recorded on a home dvd recorder,
so this must bring counterfeiting in the equation.

I have emailed them requesting a money refund, but they
will not answer my email.

Also on their site they state no cash refunds.

But considering all the above surely i have a right to a full refund.

How does the USA law work, what can i say to them, or do, to get a full money refund.

It depends if their company is registered or not.

The fact is that any legal operating business would not be able to counterfit dvds unless they held the rights to the programme/movie/music.

The fact that a property of Sony graphic comes on at the end of your dvd means that this is an illegal copy and thus the company is black market and no you won`t get a refund.

Can you do anything about it? well you can report them to the FBI who hand out huge fines for copyright theft and illegal sales.

Couldn`t you claim it back from your credit card?

Hmmm, although there might have been a recent ruling saying that goods bought in a foreign country wouldn`t be covered.
