Page 1 of Baby Asha`s home from the hospital!! :-D

Hello all,

Just to let you know Baby Asha got exzema on her milk spots last week which then got infected. On top of this she developed a fever. :(

The GP sent the poor little monkey straight to hospital and she`s been on anti biotics through an IV drip in her arm. They initially thought rash + fever = meningitis but they did a lumbar puncture which came back negative thankfully. :)

Mums been staying at the hospital with her (and is now ready to pull her hair out!) and i`ve been there from mornings till late. Didnt realise this stuff could be so stressful but we`re over the worst and Asha is virtually back to normal now (and looking incredibly cute in the meantime - pics to follow!)

They should be home by Monday evening latest and i`ve promised the Wife I`d run her a hot bath and give her a massage after - for all her hard work!!

AWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW! Im sorry to hear about that. i hope she gets better and give her all the TLC of us!

Glad to hear shes on the mend. Its a real kick in the heart when this happens & you do feel so helpless. (Been there done that with the eldest 2).

It`s times like this that really make you appreciate what you have. Make sure you give her a big kiss from all of us, hope she feels better soon and best wishes to you and your wife :)

I hope all is going to be good for you all. Sounds like the worse is over, but still, not a nice thing to go through.

It`s not easy being different. It`s not easy being cool....but somehow I manage....

Our daughter spent the first week and a half of her life in the ICU.
Very upsetting and very stressful.
Her problem was that she was too big ( 9lbs) so her sugars were all over the place.
Made her easy to spot though !
Rows of incubators with tiny wee things,then this big heefer !
