Can anyone else remember these rubber-band powered balsa planes? I bought loads of these as a kid and would like to get hold of another. Tried a Google search only to get `No results`! Can`t believe that; have I got the name right?
Don`t know if these are any good not a skeeta, but rubber band planes (look under band plane) -

Theres a model shop a few miles away, I`ll have a look next time I`m passing.
I remember them, wings were more fragile than my head after a night on the town, name sounds right though. ;)
Yes! They were great fun.
They are still definitely available!
I picked one up in one of those cheap holiday town shops in Mevagissy. Was £3 or so. It was great, but the rubber band was not the best and it broke on it`s first flight, no spare band like we used to get either :-(
Neil.
I don`t know about the planes, but I bought a couple of these rubber band guns, they are much better than the ol` finger and thumb method :D (Kept my friends and I entertained on many a rainy day...) :p
But I have no idea who in their right mind would want one of these? :o
(And why are there only men modelling them??? We girls are just as childish ;) )
