We are going to new york for new years. Any ideas what to do on new years eve? I dont fancy the times square thing. Any recommendations of good watering holes or restaurants? Thanks.

go to the revolving restaurant at the top of the Marriott Marquis Hotel in Times Square.
Has the most amazing views of New York.
You can do the buffet at $20 per head (no booking rqd) or the full al carte whack which will cost alot more (and probably book long in advance)
