Hertfordshire Uni, I went to the St Albans branch :D
Managed a year and a bit at Loughborough before the fitness-mad students drove me mad in the end (well that and a love for beer, fags and chips).
Truly dreadful place (very windy) although some of the lecturers were very good indeed (social sciences, economics, teaching - you can keep the applied maths bit tho : had no idea what was going on there, at all :/ ).
Then I went to the Open University - did three years before I gave that up too...
Blooming half a job, me :D
The final University I attended (and still attend) is The University of Life. I graduated to there from The School of Hard Knocks (etc, etc).
Hate students now, me - they might be brainy, but hell`s teeth they have no common sense or appreciation of the "real world" (ie waking up whole streets with their jolly japery in the middle of the night). Should make everyone who attends university spend a year working in a real job - might get some understanding of what it`s like "out there" - mature students excepted, naturally ;)

I didnt - Sore point especially when Swansea Uni managed to send me campus info, everytime I sent a request for details of my place, but managed to loose the accompanying letter & all subsequent letters restating the info & then had the audacity to send me a letter after I failed to get in anywhere after clearing asking "Why hadnt I sent a letter requesting the conditions of my conditional place earlier".
UCCA had confirmed a place for me there & Reading in Nov prior to that, but only Reading showed up as being conditional on obtaining & passing one particular subject on my HNC as distinction (got a merit, so that was automatically out). Swansea condition as relayed by UCCA was merely obtain HNC without any grade requirements.
PS HNC was done as a mature student at age 24.

I did Law (never, ever again!) :/ that was one bloody hard subject but I must say the facilities were excellent, when you couldn`t be arsed to go to lectures they videotaped them so you could watch them at home!
