Terminator 2: Judgement Day - Ultimate DVD Edit. (DTS/5.1) ( play247.com )

I preordered T2 weeks and weeks ago on http://www.play247.com and altho I understand there is a shortage due underestimation on the public demand of such a superb title, I am growing increasingly worried which version I will recieve because I hear there is two versions, and that one version is classed as dvd18 and one as dvd9 , so one is split over 2 discs and the other over 1 disc? Does this mean that the film will be split over 2 discs? eeeeeek, I`m hearing that the 2 disc version is the one to wait for, so i guess the film will be in its entirity on one disc. I just cant wait for my T2 to come!!! Has anyone received their copy of T2 from www.play247.com before play ran out? I`m worried play247 will supply me with a cheap rushed version, hope not!

Andy.

A lot of things have been said about the T2:UE DVD, some true, some false. As a brief summary, yes, there will be 2 versions :-

1) a DVD-18 containing the film on one side, and a zillion extras on the other side
2) 2 DVD-9s, 1 containing the film, the other containing the zillion extras

Neither of these will be a "cheap rushed version", and there really is no need to worry about which version you get, as the content will be identical. The only people who might possibly prefer the 2xDVD-9 version are those with multiple trays in their player - it might save them a few seconds in getting up to turn the disc over by having the other one already in the player.

Why all the fuss over a double sided disc?
does it not have all the same features of two discs?
what is everyones problem with it?
i will be glad which ever one i recieve
i would really like to know as people who moan about it really annoy me!

I prefer single sided as they are easier to handle without getting fingerprints all over the top.

Also, those with twin tray players don`t have to get up and turn them over.

Thanks for reassuring me of quality, as it happens i dont mind which version i get now, even if i will receive the 2 disc version, my main worry was if the quailty would be lower or the film would be a flipper.
Im sure you`ll all agree with my concern,
thanks again,
Andy.
