Page 1 of Stupid Rebranding #78: The Championship

I was just double checking the fixtures this year (the mighty Derby (tm)) play Leeds first day) and it took me a few seconds of chin scratching before I remembered that we had been re-branded.

I love the new name! Its like we are in the Premiership again! I think its just whats need to bring people back to footy outside the top flight!

It`s corporate sponsorship gone crazy. I remember when the Premiership started and Darlington were relegated from Division 3 into Division 3 - this is beyond stupidity >:( .

Bloody stupid. what are they going to re-name Divisions 2 and 3?

as is sometimes said, if it aint broke don`t fix it - what was wrong with 1, 2, 3 and 4 anyway?
