I don`t even own one of these players and all I want is someone YES YOU!!!!!!!!!! you the guy with the alba sitting under your telly
to try this out.
you need The patriot uk version or another uk RCE disk stick it in your player and press PLAY/RESUME/PLAY
thats all and let everyone here that has the same player know if the film plays ok.
And if any of you`s that have this player and can`t be arsed to go and rent the film then you`ll never know if this gets you round your prob with this RCE code..

this is the last chance you get

can`t comment on your theory but I know a man who has a 103 and for him to play an rce disc he has to press stop when he sees the picture of the world, presses the digest button which displays the chapters of the film,then he selects the beginning and off he goes no probs, this worked fine on hollow man R1 so i suppose the only only difference on R2 is no world picture

have a friend that has this player and he tried it today and it worked fine so i`ll give
him a region 1 film to try it with Hollow man

for you peeps out there with this player this hack does work as I had to get off my lazy ass and go and try it on the m8`s player,
we tried The Patriot R2, and Hollow Man R1.
both worked perfect.
