i bought one which is multi region have had no problems with it playing discs.just wondering if anyone has seen or heard of one

Home Cinema Choice did a review last October, think they said it was a good `budget` player, although CD playback not brilliant & no DTS(?).

Was your player sold chipped, or is the multi-region via a remote hack? I have a friend who has a R.E.C. and wanted to know how to make it multi-region...
