Please,please,please can anyonone help? I have a Logix 3000 DVD and i have to use shuffle, step, next, to get the secret menu. The problem is i can only set the region code and can not see any prompt on the menu for macrovision disable, please can anyone help???

To enable VCR Friendly Mode press:

SETUP, STEP, TITLE, PREV

There is also a Hidden VCR Friendly method which is enabled by installing firmware V1.80.
Then set up all options as you normally would. Next, enter the VCR Friendly Code above.

You must now play any DVD disc for a short time (about 30 seconds will do). Then install
the latest firmware, enter the VCR Friendly Code again and play any DVD for a shprt time.
Your VCR Friendly Status will show 00000003 in the System Status Window (see section 2.1)
but it will actually be enabled.

Try this but don`t change your firmware!!!!!!!

What firmware do you have at the moment?

By the way you won`t see any menu saying macrovision is disabled.

Try taping and see what happens.

I have just bought a logix dvd3000 and was coming here to ask the same question!
How much did you pay for yours????
I bought mine for £125 from Richer sounds.
It says on this site on the page for the remote multi region hack for the logix that on some titles you may get a lyp-sync errror
a, what is that???
b,what titles does it affect?
Does anyone know?

I don`t know anything about firmware, where do i get this from or how do i find out about this? I have only just got this DVD and only know the basics so please help me from scratch.

and join look in the file section and download the FAQ.
read FAQ, and find out what Video DAC is in your player.
and what firmware number. the firmware may not need to be updated to get it to remove the macrovision. if it does make sure that the firmware can be updated as some logix can not be updated. then go here for the firmware look under clones http://hdubois.free.fr/ for the offical firmware. make sure you get the wright one cause if you dont you will screw you player for good!

FLASH YOUR FIRMWARE WITH GREAT CARE GET WRONG AND YOU HAVE A KNACKERD PLAYER.

some pepeol have use the firmware from clones on there players and got then to work ok. BUT DO NOT USE THE WRONG FIRMWARE FOR YOUR DAC.

My firmware seems to be version207 ?

Firmware 207 cannot disable the mac!
did you find out your Video DAC?
