Cricket supporters

Should people from a Pakistani background but who were born and bred in England support England or Pakistan when the two teams meet this summer? This is a serious question and hopefully will not be deleted because it may be deemed racist. It isn`t. It is a perfectly reasonable question.

Scotland have a national cricket side too, you know (been in the last two World Cups, and they are also in the National one day cricket league)..

Wales is included as part of the ECB (hence the reason Robert Croft played for England).

So your point was what exactly ....?

And as for the original poster, surely that`s a matter for individuals to worry about - why have you decided to take the decision out of their hands ? Can`t see how it`s relevant, myself...It`s no different from asking should someone born in Manchester who moved to Nottingham support Manchester City (note, not Man Utd ;)) or Nottingham Forest/Notts County.

Nonsensical question that says "not meant to be racist, but is actually, only I`m trying to be subtle about it..."

Ill-informed question, mate, very ill-informed...

I should just add, I`m not calling Arthur a racist, I just believe the question to have mild racist overtones ;)

Ok,I`ve another one for you.
Should non-English SKY viewers have to put up with the (clipped accent) terribly-terribly-english minority sport drivel that is cricket clogging up their channels for hours and hours on end. ;)

What`s being non-English got to do with it ? There are many English fans who hate it just as much as the non-English !

I just happen to be one of the minority that loves it :D

What about people who hate football ? Or hate golf (as I do) ? Or wrestling, boxing, horse-racing, greyhound racing, darts, beach volleyball ( 8) ), etc, etc, etc

Sky focusses on the sports that people like to watch : essentially you can`t go wrong with football, rugby, golf, cricket and maybe a bit of motor sport.

There are 5 Sky Sports channels in total, if you don`t like cricket, don`t watch it (and don`t click on cricket-related threads!)
