Why do I get charged £7.85 for $38 dollars worth of CDs and T-shirts from the states? Has anyone else had this problem?

OH YES!!! most people on here have at one time or another. You have gone over your £18 limit and been unfortunate enough for the PO/Customs to notice. You`ve been hit for VAT and import duty...its a sod but thats life! :/
