Is that a Pitch Black spin off? Surprisingly good film, Pitch Black. Might be worth seeing.

Yeah, it is a spin-off, written and directed by David Twohy again, and also starring Vin Diesel in the title role. His character, Riddick, was the `bad guy` in Pitch Black - if you excuse the flesh-eating alien creatures.
I, for one, disliked PB; will check out TCOR on the strength of its trailer and reviews...so excuse me, I have a date with the trailer. :-)
