many modern tv`s have got a hidden service menu which can be used to change some of the settings such as the picture geometry, and it should be noted that this type of adjustment can cause damage to your tv, a freind of mine used this method to change his mitsubushi tv to play ntsc and managed to blow the power supply twice as this mode also changed the voltage to 110v the american system, what i did wonder was hhas anyone found a site that has these codes on with details of what each feature dooes step by step or is it something we are never going t obe able to find out for the reasons above?
i have a mitsubishi 29av1b and just want to get the blue down a bit on the tube as when on a dark screen you can see blue lines going across the screen

Hi smaz,Ive this afternoon been in the Hidden Service menu because the AKB was out when playing R1 dvds.I must say that all the way throught it a engineer was talking to me via landline and he asked me not to go into it on my own!!!! .
All I can say is be very careful.
My t.v is only 6 weeks old so it was done in warranty the engineer trusted me,and he was to lazy to travel to my home!! . I`m happy you might not be if it goes wrong, all the best m8
I have a Sanyo TV with 2 scart sockets, when I first setup my DVD player, I put it through the AV2 and had blue lines on the screen on playback. I then tried the AV1 and it worked fine with no blue lines. Unsure why this is, I thought it might be down to the RGB output settings on either AV but using scart elimates RGB, I think ?!?!?!
