With the current popularity of ringtones for Mobile phones why doesn’t someone come up with a Home phone that you could download ringtones to, or even better it could have a socket and lead for connecting to a CD Player and the facility to record about 20 seconds of your favourite tracks to an internal chip for use as ringtones.
A bit tacky, I know, but I’m sure it would be pretty popular.

Good idea , I have sorted out the official side of things with the patent office and will send you a postcard from somewhere exotic as soon as I have made my first million from your idea :D
