I have a samsung 709 and I have just sat and watched this great film...However, there are several points at which the DVD just freezes. In most cases, I lose about 20 seconds of film. Is this a known problem with the disc (or the player) and what can I do about it. It really spoiled an otherwise brilliant film.

The film uses seamless branching for the extra 28 mins. in the special edition. This may be where your problem lies. Terminator 2 Ultimate Edition is similar, but way more advanced. Sorry but the problem here is not the discs. It is the compatability of your player.
