Power cable

The lead from my player (Pioneer 530) to the wall socket has been destroyed by a freak hamster.

Does anyone know where I can buy a replacement?

can`t you trim the wire to it`s tidy and then extend it (DIY shops have things for that).

My Pioneer has got a removable power lead with an "8" shaped plug - any Tandy , Maplin shopw ould have them - maybe even Dixons / currys / comet etc
