Thomson Integrated TV and DVD

All, I have just purchased the new Thomson TV/DVD combi Model 24wt25us - It is totally excellent, with the exception that I cannot seem to find a hack to multi-region it???? Any ideas or answers would be really appreciated. - Rich

Rich, use the search function above for the hack.
If I remember right, press "open/Close + play + Skip forward" for a few seconds on the TV front panel.

It then becomes region 0

you have to search "all forums"..anyways, I found my last post, and this definitely works...heres the "cut and paste"

>>"Dunno about manual entry, but this is from a recent post of mine giving multi region:

>>"Found it for ya, it was a posting saying that the Sammy 511 and Thomson hacks definitely work because I tested them on instore players.

Here`s a section cut from my original posting:

>"The "double cold start" hack for the 709 will DEFINITELY change the 511 and hitachi models to multi region (available on this site and from www.709online.com) and the Thomson combined TV/DVD hack of pressing FastForward & open/close & OK on the TV`s front panel also definitely works.

Trust me, I work in Retail and have tried the hack on a couple of each and then happily watched my Toy Story 2 R1 come to life again!"

Hope this helps...I nearly remembered right in the first posting, but it`s OK instead of PLAY! Lol!

Merry Chrimble!

Does this same hack work on the 32" Thomson integrated (the model is 32WT45US)?

I`ve tried pressing FF+Open/Close+OK together, but nothing happens. Is there something else I need to be doing before, afterwards or at the same time?

TIA,

Nick

Yeah, put an R1 disc in and watch it when yer finished doing the hack!!

Nothing happens on screen etc. to confirm the hack worked, just try putting a disc in after the hack and see if it plays.
