Page 1 of Asylum Seeker sueing for £30,000 because he is depressed

This man has just received permission to fight his claim for £30,000 compensation in the High Court becaused he was depressed at the length of time his asylum claim had taken. This case will of course be funded by the good old British tax payer. I challenge anyone to defend this action (Alan?), talk about bite the hand that feeds you. This man should be taken to the nearest airport and sent back to his country of origin - Libya. I am sure his case would get fair consideration there!

I reckon this thread will be at least 10 pages long - anyone reckon it`ll be any shorter??? I`ll bet you 50p.................:-)

Nice of you to mention my name Telboy, but as I know nothing about the case I could hardly comment could I? You however, know everything there is to know about asylum seekers and so I bow to your knowledge that they are all as appalling as they can be. You seem to use these forums to deliberately raise inflammatory opinions, to which we will see the usual responses (`racist`, `Nazi`, `ignorant scum` `liberal` `do gooder` - although it beats me why the last two are used as insults - etc etc). Is this the latest in the Daily Mail`s long list of blowing everything out of proportion to get the hot-blooded middle-Englander even hotter under the collar? Awaiting your next asylum-seeker horror story with interest. They eat children as well you know.

The annoying thing is he will probably win this case at the tax payers expence!

I think he`s going to be one depressed person, as all we bloody do is queue in this country!!!!

Seriously though, who cares how long it takes for a claim to be made? He`s safe from being persecuted once he`s in our country.

I think I should get my dad to claim as well, he`s been waiting over a year for hospital treatment!

I think I might claim despression as well, because my dentist couldn`t fit me in at the time I wanted, I had to wait a few extra weeks!

If he wins, then they`re all going to do it.
