Page 1 of AIWA 370 firmware info (techie question)

After reading about the firmware hack on a certain web site, i thought I`d try it...

My readings were the same except:
Nation: DE 00
Micom: Ver1.3 20000904
Servo: E003
Miscel: 11 A2 44 45 00 DE 40 00 00 00

Does anybody know what these mean? And should I be concerned by anything here?

Breakdown: NATION: European player destined for Germany/Poland/Czech etc.
MICOM: Firmware revision
Servo and Miscel: no idea! lol

Nothing to be concerned about. The player model on the box will be "XD-DV370EZN" I`ll bet.

Same as the one I just got for a mate. Region hack still works ok, but looks like VCD playback works from inserting the disc, on mine you need to press play after it loads. (Micom: 1.2)

`bit miffed that I`ve got an import. Bought from local comet.

Still, seems fine.

Although... should I have got an LG and forgo the VCD playback? But that is another discussion and has been covered before. :-)
