Er, no. Laser discs are (a) 8-12 inches in diameter and (b) analogue!
They aren`t region coded, but the only DVD players capable of playing them are the Pioneer "combi" players (DVL-909, 919) and the Elite players which cost as much as a small car.
If you want to play them, try and find a second-hand Pioneer or Sony LD player (one of the later PAL/NTSC models with both digital and analogue sound and Dolby Digital output). They can be had very cheaply nowadays.
