can any one help me with this bit of useless information. Jimi Hendrix has a greatest hits cd out at the moment called Voodoo child. On it is a track called Voodoo Child. I always thought the track was called Voodoo chile (not child) I thought I would check this so I looked it up in the Guinness book of hit singles and it was indeed called Voodoo chile , so whats going on here? Have the cd compilers cocked up here and not done their research or made a gaff ? You would of thought they would of got it right before releasing the cd wouldnt you . Can someone please explain.

It`s just a play on words, surely : you know Hendrix was one helluva voodoo child. Agreed that the single is definitely "chile" though : maybe the country protested !
Not a Voodoo Chilli either (I`ve heard people pronounce it that way !)
