Dvd cases-anyone know where I can buy some?

happysnapper (Competent) posted this on Monday, 10th June 2002, 19:46

Online or offline, high street or not, I want to buy some cases for some dvd`s I bought that came with none. W.H.Smith sell 3 for £3.99 which sounds like daylight robbery to me! Local poundshops don`t seem to sell them. Anyone else any ideas?

Try and get hold of the AOL cases that come through the post. Someone else also suggested asking your postman if they have any spare un-delivered AOL cases at the post depot.

Only snag is the Delivery is £7. The cases are only 21p each. Maybe if you paid for some other stuff from the site it would be worth it, otherwise, the P+P is too dear

With there being no real need for the cover as such - ie all the info is on the disc. Why don`t you do what I`ve done and put all your DVD`s in a DVD/CD wallet. Caselogic do a 204 holder for about £40-£50.

the best a cheapest place is www.121cdr.co.uk
its works out around 15pence each for a hundred and these cases are the best they have a push button relese so u dont damage your dvds like you can in some boxes..and they sell blank cds starting at around £10 for 100..its a brilliant company to deal with as you can havethem delivered the next day if you want by courier and your postage is done by weight which is better as it usually costs me £5.99 to have 100 boxes and 100-200 discs deliveed next day thats all..and also when youve ordered once theyll send you a email every couple of weeks giving you bigger discounts the next time you order hope this helps:)

Thank you all for your help! Tesco`s sell 5 dvd cases for £3.99, but 121cdr.co.uk seem to beat everyone hands down & could supply nearly 24 cases for what Tesco charge for 5!
Cheers!

Don`t ever see the postman, so it`s not a likely option. Have no dealings with Aol either! Then I saw further down (or is that up) the forum :-www.121cdr.co.uk seems to be the best deal around, at about 14p each!

There IS a real need for the cover, I have dvd covers to slot into them! Besides, they don`t look too good folded up into a cd case!
