PS2 Outputs

Hi

Im still trying to solve a problem with my Sony DAVS300 and my PS2.

Ive heard the only output for DTS/DD is throught the optical out lead on the back of the PS2. Thats all fine and dandy but my DAVS300 what i wanted to decode the D/DTS only has a coax input.

How can i get DTS/DD sound playing through my 5.1 sony davs300 using my PS2 dvd player.

PS: the only reason why i use the DVD on the PS2 is because its multi region, whereas my DAVS300 isnt.

Somebody help, i have tonnes of region 1 discs but cant get a decent soundtrack.

Thanks Gavin for that, but i was really hoping for a cheaper option.

I can get my DAVS300 chipped for a lot less than that, but cheers for the advice.
