Page 1 of genisis+cd games console.should i chuck it?

Its collecting dust in my wardrobe.Should i sling it or will it be a collectors model?i paid £200 for the cd player all those years back.i can see why it did`nt catch on.Any one else got one collecting dust?

I`ve never heard of this which means it`s probably rare, hang on to it! You never know!!

The value depends on the condition and whether it is boxed/complete etc.

Check out ebay for similar systems and see what they go for. It may be worth selling.

i never had one as a child (damned poor parents), but i`d love to have one now (just for the sake of it really)

It`s not rare, but certainly not something you should chuck out (especially if it`s the original tray loading model). People will pay reasonably good money for those.

If you`re on broadband/ADSL, why not download some games for it and burn them onto CD? There are FTP sites out there with Sega CD games on them.

I take it you have the Sega CD (U.S.)? Motorised tray or top loader? Is it modded?

I loved my Mega CD if only for Thunderhawk and a few others. Anyone here remember those awful Digital Pictures games?

Thanx for response.yes its the motorised tray loader and i have the cartridge to play all games.Guess i`ll hang on to it then just in case unless there are any offers on it?
