well done Miles :D

fully deserved your wins. i think i mess about too much with the ball
rather than being a bit more direct (hmmm sounds familiar, just like
the baggies!).

anyways, enjoy your moment of glory... i`ll be back to gun you down :D

probably

I`ve had a little more practice (on Fifa 09 that is) than you appear to have had...just based on the Fifa `points` on the user. (111,000 vs 240 :D)

But I`ll be more than happy for a rematch.

All other contenders welcome! :D

After a few more games on it, here`s my brief analysis/view of the new version.

Movement is greatly improved in my opinion. With every version they seem to make the movement more realistic (or so it seems to me at least). The "360 degree" control seems to be well implemented, so it doesn`t feel like you can only move at 45 degree angles around the pitch.

Even though I scored a few against Ste ;) It is much harder to score than it is in Fifa 09. In fact a few of those I scored were rebound efforts.
The direction of shots appears to have been made a little more accurate when it comes to the movement of the analog stick, which explains the difficulty in scoring.
It`s either that or the goal keepers have got a lot better.

Apart from that it`s pretty similar to Fifa 09, which is a good thing in my opinion.

ssshh!

yeah, couple of good goals in between the follow-ups though tbh.

i wish that thunderbolt off ishmail miller had gone in rather than
your keeper putting it over the bar!

i started watching MoTD (just to see wolves lose to pompey!) but
put the PS3 on to play FIFA 10. it really is a good game.. feels much
more organic (if that`s possible) than 08 (never played 09) and yes, the
360 movement is very good.

i also agree with your comment about scoring ;)

I thought this was out at the end of the month; better take a run to Tescos!

Pity I didn`t find out about the £25 pricing til way to late on Saturday as I was working both Thursday through Friday and Friday through Saturday til around 7AM :/

Tried a few more last night and as expected, all sold out. Only place I found close was PC World online at £30.
Tesco in Springburn had a very well prepared signage outside the front door regarding being sold out.... either they print their posters instore, have a printer onhand for weekend emergencies or had crap stock to begin with as this was a professionally printed 4 foot high poster in one of the standing frames stating "due to unexpected demand" etc.

Back to waiting n hunting n practicing on 09 for now then.

All the Tescos, Morrisons and Asdas in my area had completely sold out by Friday night & didn`t get any more in on Saturday. I ended up getting it from Amazon at £24.99 last night - got to wait a couple of weeks til it arrives though, as their initial stock had run out.

Cheers
