If like me you bought your PS3 though Choices UK and it proves to be in need of replacement (sound problems playing Blu-ray discs), do NOT phone the Returns Helpline number quoted on the packing slip (0870 400 3845).
This number is not manned as I found out to my cost after two hours of listening to music and the usual "our operators will get round to you" statements. When I finally gave up and phoned their normal customer helpline ( 0870 400 3838 ) the phone was answered promptly and the staff were able to arrange for the faulty machine to be collected next week. They were not aware that there is a separate line being quoted in the delivery information.
Two hours on an 0870 number to no great purpose - what an expensive waste of time. >:(
