Page 1 of PS3 problems getting on internet?

hello,i know its probably me,but ive recieved my ps3 today from play.com.very happy indeed.ive got on the internet wireless but all i can access is the playstation page.nothing else.can anyone please help.cheers.

I think you need to set up an account to access the Playstation network (and get the free "Casino Royale" Blu-ray disc):

On the PS3 main menu go to "Friends" and then "Sign up for PS Network".

I`d love to tell you more but having set up my account I now find I can`t access it. The logon process keeps asking me for my mother`s maiden name but when I type it in the system tells me it`s incorrect. I`ve tried all sorts of variations but still no joy.

I tried to access the website via my PC but the connection was dreadfully slow and I`ve been unable to get through to the PS3 site since about 11.30 last night so it might just be that Sony`s system has crashed. (I`ve just tried again and at least I got to a screen that says it down for "maintenance".)

I should have known that things seemd to be going too well.......

got it now,i wasnt removing the playstation address on the search bar!cheers.
