I have spent quite a lot of my weekend playing No Man's Sky again, it's fun and pretty... with a lot of farming!

Never got round to Shadow of Collosus, it's still there, but I downloaded CoDWII at the weekend as one of the "free" PSPlus games, played that a bit, can tell I don't play games much any more, especially FPSs as really struggled to get off the beach (in game not real life)! Enjoyed it though, and going through the trenches.

then played a bit of the zombie CoD :) That was fun, did the single player prologue, then did a map, with a coupel of random internet ppl, I think I did ok, was hard to tell :) I enjoyed it though. Didn't plug in headphones so know idea what they thought of me ;)

I remember when I got Battlefront on ps3, finished the single player campaign, so thought to myself "I can handle online now". I was wrong :( Actually, that was probably last time I played an online game (apart from swgoh on mobile) it put e off so much! Not just other ppl's atitudes, but my own ability, bit like at school playing football at break time, I was always last picked :(

downloading  Star Wars battlefront 2 from PSPLus now, not sure how much of it i'll play, i'd imagine one go online, and then mayeb do the single player if i get chance.

SWGOH still takes up most of my gaming time as I can do that in snippets here and there, I'm working for General Skywalker having got Malek recently, but won't get him this time, will need to wait 3 months. I did some maths, and the economy of these games is insane, if I wanted to gear up my toons I need, I'd have to spend at least £220 to be ready for Thursday when the event launches again! There's no way on earth I'd pay that to upgrade a handful of toons, yet there is a lot of people out there who do, which I remind myself is good, or there would be no free to play option for ppl like me :)

I'm getting near the end of KOTOR (seeing a theme here?) on my mobile as well, I've fought Malek once, now have to go through some tombs on a sith planet. Annoyingly KOTOR2 isn't available on mobile, but I have it via steam and can play it in windows or linux, which is handy as my main laptop just has Linux Mint on it.

Played a bit of Star Wars Battle front 2 - single player, a lot of fun, only done first couple of levels, but it was nice to go from the  setting of in a space ship to Endor to seem some varierty in level design and scenary.

Also, downloaded Disney Sorcerer's Arena on my mobile last night. It's basically Star Wars Galaxy of Heroes (or Marvel Strike Force) but you collect and level Disney/Pixar Characters, instead of Star Wars (there's no cross over yet as far as I know).

The animations etc of the Disney one, are really nice, probably better than the Star Wars one, but maybe because it's trying to be more kiddy friendly, the front end menu system is a lot worse, as it's v cluttered and garish and not clear what's what.  The battles are fun, it's nice to use some different toons, until the grind kicks in, so I probably won't play it for long.

wow, reminds me of uni, in my final year, I didn't have a PC then, but 2 guys in our halls did, and one of them usually left his pc in the other guy's room, for winner stays on C&C battles. That and FF7 (which also recently got a rework) I'm sure are responsable for my grades not being as good as they should have been ;)

Via a complicated youtibe rabbit hole, I stumbled across Raft, a seemingly open-ended sandbox game where you find yourself on a tiny raft floating on an endless ocean, using only the flotsam around you to build up your raft, find food and defend yourself from the never-ending queue of sharks who'll chomp off your foot or a section of your floating island if you're not paying attention.

I'd actually got quite involved, made myself a bedroom with hammock, a well-stocked kitchen (mainly fish) and a navigation deck. When I finally managed to pool my resources and put a receiver together, and it's at this point that I discovered that the game actually has a plot, that being the plot from Waterworld. (polar icecaps melted, fend for yourself).

It's that involving it's managed to drag me away from GTA online for more than a week

Edit, turns out the game is early access, and they've only released the first chapter, which I got to the end of earlier. Oh well, back to GTA it is then

Played a bit of Marvel Strike Force over the weekend, good fun if you like these games. What has become painfully obvious is, is that the "best" game, is the one where you know/like the toons.

i.e. I'm not going to switch from Star Wars Galaxy of Heroes to MSF, or Disney Arena, not just because I'm so invested in my roster, but because I know/care about the toons more. I've collected some toons in Marvel and Disney, but I don't know who they are, so it's hard to "care" about them.

Also most annoyingly, you can tell that the Star Wars developers know they have the "Biggest" franchise, as there are certain aspects of the other games which are so much better, not just from what I've played but from some of the youtubers who comment, some "defecting" to cover non star wars games due to various soap opera style antics with the Star Wars developer Capital Games.

There's a few games which use the same engine for a fantasy game, but I can't see myself being interested in random dwarf/troll whatever against someone else.

it's bad enough using a team of 5 different Clone Troopers, trying to remember which one does what ;)
