I have a USA DS, can I use a UK charger to charge my DS, or do I have to buy a converter thingy?

Thanks!, think I will opt for a USB charger. These UK chargers are like bricks. The US DS charger is so small and thin and you just flick out the two pins when needed, oh well at least the USB charger can be used all over.
