A power lead, a TV and some games might help... ;)

is there a computer fair any where near you ? if not i know someone that can do it + fit a bigger hard drive at the same time i think he charges £120 for the chip + fitting + hard drive & dashboard, but i`d have to make sure.

EDIT= make sure you get a chip that can be switched off, something like the xenium (sp) or executor 2/3 otherwise you can`t use the LIVE service ;)

righto, it`s his "mate" that does them & he charges £120 for the executor 1.6 chip (soldered Not clipped, aparently this is the "best" chip for crystal x-box`s, duno if thats true tbh) inc a 120gig hard drive & fitting, tbh the 1.6 is not the newest chip you can get, But that said, it`s the same chip that i have & i`ve never had any problems at all. he gets the hard drive when he needs them & his average turnover is a couple of day`s, so including you sending it to me + me taking it in work, then my mate taking it to his mate, etc etc, so it`s probaly gonna take about a week to sort out, i`ve worked with this guy for a few year`s & i know he`s sound as a pound, so i have no probs recomending him, but i still rekon you`re better of getting it done localy if you can, simply because you`ve less hassle & no postage costs etc, but if you wanna send it i`ll get it sorted out, no probs :) (i`ll send you that mame disc + some other emulator stuff either way :) )

xecuter 3 chips works vey well in vers 1.5 and 1.6 crystal xboxs enables you to still use the xbox live service you can switch from 3 bioses too loads of features to it to ive modded loads last few weeks with no problems i think if you want a foolproof chip and still want to use live go for the executer x3 chip like ogster says if you get a bigger hdrive for it its well cool dvd files games etc etc they load well quicker too 8)
