PS2 on line (How to connect)
How does this online thing work?
I have a ADSL connection and a PS2.
So I buy the thingy to put into the back of the PS2 and connect that to my Modem
My modem is the one that came free with freeserve (Copperjet 800 USB)
Can I use this?
Does my PS2 connect using my Freeserve number ie at no extra cost.
Is there any type of charge I will be paying extra other than my monthly to Freeserve?
Ps Freeserve still owe my money so will be moving to Telewest in the spring does there cable modem work??

RE: PS2 on line (How to connect)
You need to connect via the PS2 ethernet adapter into a network card installed onto your PC (most motherboards now have them built) using a patch cable (alternatively connect both to a hub using normal network cables) & share the internet connection using ICS on Win98, 2000, Me, or XP.
The principle is the same for cable or ADSL.

RE: PS2 on line (How to connect)
I also would like to know how to connect. I have Bt Broadband running on my pc but there is no ethernet port on the back of the modem they supplied me (BT Voyager 100 USB ADSL). There is only an ethernet port on the back of my pc. Can i still get connected?

Yes. 8)
Exactly the same mode of operation (keeping things simple here without going into things like using combined modem-routers that wouldnt require the PC to be on at the time).

Yeah, it is very easy to do, but here are a couple of interesting links:
