Page 1 of xbox plays cdrs!

i brought an xbox from comet the other day and was amazed to find that it plays cdrs! as i have read peoples comments on forums that it cant read these discs.
anybody elses xbox plays copies?

the new batches of xbox are fitted with a samsung dvdrom deive which can read cdrs rather than the old ones which had thompson and philips dvdrom

Just bought my son PS2 for crimbo , and found that it will also play CDR`S with wav files on .
