I really want to get Nascar Thunder for the PS2 but after checking the EA website, they tell me it wont be released in the UK.Can I get my PS2 chipped?Where? How much? Are they reliable?Ta.
There,s plenty of places that can chip your machine, and all new chips are very reliable but, not all play original imports......most are for playing backups.
Where do you live and maybe we could recomend somewhere close that could do it for you.

I just play European games on my PS2. If I see a US game that I like, I just wait until it comes out over here.

But he just said Nascar isn`t coming to the UK so he needs to chip his PS2 to play it!

Isn`t there some sort of Multi-region thingy like Freeloader available for PS2?

Not for PS2, no. You need to get the machine chipped with a "Messiah" or equivalent mod.
You might be thinking of Datel`s Region X, which allows multi-region playback for DVD movies (not PS2 games).
